FREE February Half Term Holiday Courses

BIKEABILITY LEVEL 2 COURSES (incorporating Level 1)

Level 2 courses run over ONE full day ( 9.30am – 2.30pm ). Trainees must be aged 10yrs +.

The course aims to provide Level 1 and Level 2 training to children who are COMPETENT cyclists (e.g. can control the bike with one hand/look over their shoulder without wobbling)

Most of the training will take place on public roads and trainers need to be confident that all trainees can cope with the conditions.

Trainees must have a roadworthy bicycle of the correct size and an approved cycling helmet (not full-face).

At the start of day each child will be quickly assessed for their ability to control their bike. Parents/carers will be required to remain until this assessment is completed. If, in the trainer’s opinion, your child is not yet ready to complete Level 1 & 2 training, you will be asked to take your child home at this stage and to consider applying again at a later date.
