World Book Day 2021

Thursday 4th March is World Book Day - during this day the Google Classroom activities will be centred around authors, books and lots of fun activities. We are inviting any children who would like to dress up as their favourite book character to do so, whether at home or in school and during the daily meeting with your class teacher, your teacher will be judging the best dressed character.

Please make sure that costumes are either already existing costumes or homemade costumes - please save your pennies!

Winners will be announced later via Google Classroom.

We look forward to seeing all of your costumes.

Kind regards

Information for Families

To mark World Book Day 2021, Thrive London is delighted to be working with the authors and illustrators of Chicken Legs’ Arroyo and Ruby’s Worry to bring together a double book reading.

The two stories are designed to support young children (aged 3-7) and parents discuss childhood worries and anxieties, no matter how big or small they may be.

The book readings will be broadcast to the Thrive LDN website and available to watch from 10am on Thursday, 4 March at 10am.

This year's World Book Day arrives just before all children return to school, we are encouraging parents and carers to join us on World Book Day and watch the broadcast of the book readings. You can register your interest and receive updates about the book readings.
