Dulverton Governors for the 2025-26 Academic Year
Each Governor sits on at least one Governing Body Committee and has a specific
responsibility, which links directly to either a statutory responsibility or to one or more of the
school objectives, as set out in the School Development Plan (SDP objectives are indicated
below by the reference to SDP. More than one Governor may be responsible for each SDP
objective).

Both her children have attended Dulverton. She has worked in financial services for over 20 years with a focus on client outcomes within the investment management industry. |

Appointment type: Local Authority Governor Committees: F&GP and Quality of Education Specific responsibilities: To achieve the UNICEF Gold Rights Respecting Schools Award (SDP) Biography: Steve has worked in schools for 19 years, the vast majority of which has been in Bexley schools. He is currently the Deputy Head in a primary school in Bexleyheath and has been a senior leader there for 5 years. Although he has recently joined the Governing Body at Dulverton, he has lots of experience on being on the other side of the table, answering the questions his governors pose him! |

| Amy Goold - Current term of office: 10.09.2025 – 09.09.2029 | Appointment type: Parent Governor Committees: Quality of Education Specific responsibilities: To improve pupils oracy skills (SDP) Biography: This is Amy’s first term as a Governor at Dulverton, and she’s excited to get involved and help the school reach its goals. As a mum of two and a Headteacher in a neighbouring borough, she’s looking forward to sharing her passion for education and using her experience to support the Dulverton community. |

Appointment type: Co-opted Governor Committees: F&GP Specific responsibilities: Health & Safety; to create a site development plan to enhance the learning environment and maximise the use of facilities (SDP) Biography: This is Mick’s first governor role. He previously worked in facilities management for 35 years, starting in the private sector with Lloyds Bank before moving into Education. He retired in 2023 and does voluntary work for the NHS along with his Governor role. |

| Molly Kay - Current term of office: 24.05.2023 – 23.05.2027 | Appointment type: Staff Governor Committees: Quality of Education Specific responsibilities: Teacher and Phase Leader Biography: Molly joined Dulverton Primary School in 2017 as an NQT, teaching in Year 4. From there, she taught in Years 5 and 6 for a number of years before, recently, joining the Year 3 team. Her favourite subjects to teach are History and Writing - particularly when her class is writing a story. This year, Molly has taken on the role of phase leader for Years 1,2 and 3. She is excited to work with children, and teachers, from the different year groups When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family back home in Yorkshire. Whenever she can, she likes to find a peaceful part of nature to walk in. |

SEN); and to further develop and embed adaptive teaching strategies across all subjects (SDP) Biography: Most of Pam’s working life has revolved around either catering, including running her own catering business, or children, including being a children’s play leader, a childminder and working for 20 years at Dulverton Her involvement with Dulverton spans 35 years; both of her children and now her granddaughter are Dulverton children. She volunteered in the school’s Nursery for many years, served as FODS Chair three times, was a teaching assistant and then Breakfast Club Supervisor. Now retired, as well as being a Governor, she volunteers at All Saints Church, New Eltham, and serves on the Parochial Parish Council, the Mission Action Plan team and as Safeguarding Officer. |

Appointment type: Parent Governor Committees: Finance and Quality of Education Specific responsibilities: To equip pupils and staff with the knowledge, skills and critical awareness to use AI responsibly (SDP) Biography: Ed recently became a parent governor and has 2 children at the school. He has lived in the area for the past 14 years. Ed works in banking and has 20 years of experience of working in financial services in London. In his free time, he enjoys running and cycling. |

Appointment type: Co-opted Governor Committees: Vice-chair of Governors, F&GP (Committee Chair), Staffing and Quality of Education Specific responsibilities: To create a site development plan to enhance the learning environment and maximise the use of facilities (SDP) Biography: Neil has been a governor at Dulverton for many years. He is a chartered public finance accountant by profession, and while now retired, he continues to do some non-executive director work for central government and works with several local voluntary groups, including chairing the Board of a small local housing provider. In the distant past Neil was a Councillor and Cabinet Member on Bexley Council. |

Business, Pecuniary and Other Financial Interests of Governors
Governors are required to inform the Clerk to the Governing Body of any business, pecuniary or other financial interests they may have in the school. At the beginning of all meetings of the Governing Body or its committees, Governors are again asked to declare if they have any financial interest they should declare.
No Governor declared a pecuniary interest during the year other than Ms Herbert and Ms Kay, who declared that they were paid employees of the school
No Governor receives any form of remuneration for undertaking their duties.
